"Checklist"
- Completed application form for short-term visa with a date and 2 signatures.
- 2 visa sized (biometric) photo with white background taken recently
- Passport ( should be valid at least 3 months from the intending return date , should have 2 empty pages and should not be more than 10 years old) Passport with copies of page 2 for new passport and copies of pages 1., 2., 3., 4. and 60, apart from blank ones and with copies of all the visas received before. All the valid passports are to be submitted during submission of documents
- For non Turkish citizens the copy of the resident permit
- Booking of return tickets (we strongly insist that you do not buy tickets before receiving the visa)
- Seamen holding a seaman booket+photocopy
- Proof of a reliable employment must be presented (such as a work contract or a mission assignment from the ship owner company).
- Letter from the spanish ship owner company requesting a transit visa the letter should content the date of ship arrival and its departure as well as the passeport number of applicant.
- Seafarer contract
- Those who work as a waiter in cruise ship: a copy of the original contract and an invitation from ship owner company
- Photocopy of Identity.
- For foreingers residing in Turkiye all documents except application form and passport copies should be translated into spanish.
Applicants should submit their Application form with the new photo format, as explained below:
General
- The photo must fulfill the norm specified by the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization).
- Use plain white background.
- The photo must be no more than 6-months old.
- Not tilted picture (portrait style) showing both edges of face clearly.
- Close up of the head and top of the shoulders so that the face takes up 70–80% of the photograph.
- Photo in sharp focus and clear.
